Chloe Bieber
Counselling psychology practicum student
Clinical supervision: Alia Raad
Chloe supports adults through supervised counselling with an open, collaborative, and nonjudgmental approach. She provides space to talk openly about difficult experiences, better understand what you are going through, and work toward goals that matter to you.
Who she supports
Chloe works with adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, and low self-esteem. She welcomes LGBTQ+ clients and people working in the sex industry, and her professional experience contributes to her understanding of the realities sex workers may face.
Approach
Chloe’s counselling is informed by humanistic and person-centred principles and incorporates strategies and perspectives drawn from cognitive behavioural and somatic approaches.
She works collaboratively with you to explore difficult experiences, better understand your emotions and responses, and clarify what you would like to change.
Her approach is inclusive and nonjudgmental, with room for the different experiences, relationships, identities, and circumstances that may be important to you, without reducing you to an identity or label.
Background
Chloe is completing the clinical practicum portion of her master’s degree in counselling psychology at Yorkville University under the supervision of Alia Raad.
She holds a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership from the University of New Brunswick’s Renaissance College, completed in 2020, with a minor in psychology.
