# Michael Forgione

Counselling psychology practicum student

Clinical supervision: Alia Raad

Michael Forgione supports adults through supervised counselling. He understands that navigating adulthood can be difficult, and that anxiety or depression can make it feel even harder. His collaborative and compassionate approach provides space to feel genuinely supported while developing a deeper understanding of yourself and working toward a life that feels more manageable.

## Who he supports

Michael works with adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety and depression. He is particularly interested in helping people better understand themselves, their emotions, and the patterns that may be affecting their lives.

## Approach

Michael’s counselling approach draws on somatic and existential perspectives and is tailored to each person’s needs and circumstances.

Together, you explore the connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours at a pace that feels right for you. His approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental, creating space for you to come as you are.

In your work together, you may make room for difficult emotions, deepen your self-understanding, and bring greater awareness to parts of your experience that may have gone unnoticed. The aim is to help you develop new ways of understanding yourself, greater insight into your patterns, and more confidence in facing what lies ahead.
